King Kaplo Creative Studio (Pty) Ltd (“King Kaplo”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a creative, content and live event production company registered in South Africa. Our registered address is 1 Polofields Drive, Waterfall City, Gauteng.

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and any other applicable South African legislation.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as identity numbers, financial details or health information through this website.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information only for the purposes set out below and only where we have a lawful basis to do so under POPIA.

We will not use your information for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.

4. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law.

Enquiry records are retained for up to 3 years from the date of last contact. Records relating to concluded contracts are retained for up to 7 years in line with South African tax and commercial law. Technical and website usage data is retained for up to 13 months.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share it only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers who assist us in operating our website and delivering our services (e.g. web hosting, email delivery), bound by confidentiality agreements.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, destruction or alteration. Our website is served over HTTPS (TLS encryption). Access to enquiry data is restricted to authorised personnel only. In the event of a data breach that is likely to affect your rights and interests, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by POPIA.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
